A stellar year for Moneyfacts Critical Illness Cover Star Ratings 2023

Moneyfacts is pleased to announce the Moneyfacts Annual Star Ratings 2023 for Critical Illness Cover.

  • The Moneyfacts Annual Star Ratings for Critical Illness Cover look at level and decreasing term assurance combined with illness cover. 
  • Year-on-year there has been consistency in the market, with the number of ratings remaining unchanged, with 26 Five-Star awarded and two Four-Star awarded across the categories. 
  • Over 150 fields of information per product are collected for assessment, including over 70 illnesses along with other crucial areas such as total and permanent disability (TPD), less advance cancers and children's cover. 

The products awarded Five or Four-Star Ratings offer the most comprehensive range of standout features and competitive limits, which set them apart from the rest of the market.

Moneyfacts has been analysing data for 35 years, with the instantly recognisable Moneyfacts badge of quality helping inform consumers when comparing Critical Illness Cover.
