Moneyfacts is pleased to announce the Moneyfacts Annual Star Ratings 2025 for Travel Insurance.

  • For 2025 the number of policies that achieved a five-star stands at 171 for annual policies and 169 for single trip policies, with 119 annual policies achieving a four-star and 110 for single trip policies, and 128 achieving a three-star for annual policies and 123 for single trip policies.

Samantha Owens, Star Ratings and Personal Finance Analytics Manager at Moneyfacts, said:

“With summer just around the corner many people are looking to plan their breaks, be it family holiday, exotic getaway or a long-needed weekend away.  Ensuring that travellers are covered should anything go wrong on their trip is essential, with the cost of a ruined holiday potentially running into the thousands.

“The annual Moneyfacts Travel Insurance Star Ratings has taken some of the hard work out of this task by looking at those products currently available in the market.  The ratings highlight those that are the most complete, having the widest range of features and most competitive limits, which allows the customer to narrow their search and focus their attention on the most suitable cover for them.”
