Role & Key Tasks
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Advertising Sales team in our Norwich office, to learn the tools-of-the-trade as an Apprentice in our expert team of magazine advertising account managers.
You will be learning on the job with the three Client Account Managers and will gain valuable experience dealing with a wide range of internal departments, including interacting with the Moneyfacts Editor and Graphics team.
Working across the three titles you will learn about each of the differing audiences, develop client relationship skills, gain understanding of publishing and advertising in both printed and digital formats.
The role is expected to last 18 months, based on the successful completion of the Level 4 Sales Executive Apprenticeship and may lead to a permanent position at the end of the apprenticeship based on performance and subject to successful completion of all elements of the apprenticeship.

Key Duties
- Support the work of the Advertising Sales Client Account Managers
- Attend client meetings with the Client Account Managers
- Contribute to the success of the Advertising Sales team
- Attend weekly online learning sessions and on-site masterclass training with a dedicated tutor
- Complete a variety of training activities including job shadowing, research and client visits
Key learning milestones will include:
- The relationship between Moneyfacts and our customer base
- Market and customer knowledge and engagement
- Commercial, Business & Financial Acumen & Digital Knowledge
- The Sales Environment
- Negotiating and Closing the Sale
- Digital Skills, Marketing Intelligence and Time Management
- Customer Experience and Working in a Team
Essential Skills/Experience
- 5 GCSE’s grade A*-C/4-9, including Maths and English
- IT Skills including Microsoft Word and Excel
- Experience of working in a customer facing role would be advantageous
- Administrative skills
- Time management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Good interpersonal skills, with the confidence to speak to customers
- Ability to work well as part of a team
