The Role

Moneyfacts Group is now looking for an experienced Account Manager (Data Provision) to join the current high-performing sales and client relationship team.

You will be selling and acting as a consultant for the leading online systems and services we provide to Banks, Building Societies, Regulators and Aggregators for accessing our trusted data including:

Moneyfacts Analyser – The UK’s leading, web-based retail financial product monitoring system.

Moneyfacts Market Intelligence Reports – Providing users with daily bespoke reports.

Moneyfacts Datafeeds - The flexible and purest way to access raw whole-of-market product-level data.

Moneyfacts API – Providing banks, building societies and aggregators live access to Moneyfacts whole-of-market product data.

Moneyfacts Treasury Reports - The definitive monthly analysis of Mortgage and Savings trends, and the quarterly Unsecured Lending trends analysis.

This exciting and high-profile role will see you working closely with an enviable list of Banks and Building Societies. You will be a confident communicator and adept at dealing with all levels of clients, from users of the systems and services in product and analysis departments, through to ‘Heads of’ and ‘Director level’.

Your role will be a combination of driving new sales, cross-selling other products to existing clients and managing client relationships.

You will be responsible for delivering optimal profit and revenue growth through existing business, following up on new business opportunities and acting as a technical expert in new and existing business sales, liaising with both customers and internal departments to ensure effective and commercially focused delivery against customer requirements.

The role will work closely with our teams in Marketing, IT, Events, Data and Analytics to ensure we deliver a joined up programme of sales activities.

 

About You

  • 3+ years of business development in the financial services arena.
  • Proven sales ability.
  • Good knowledge of I.T. financial products.
  • A demonstrable personal track record of winning new business.
  • A passion for financial services.
  • A knowledge of personal finance products ideally from a banking or building society background.
  • Self-motivated and enthusiastic with excellent account management skills.
